To better unite efforts and promote the advancement of Teochew language, Mogher outlines its data copyright policy as follows:

Data Sources and Copyright

Phonetic database: Primarily sourced from the printed Chaozhou Dictionary and Chaoshan Dictionary and other related documents, entered and reviewed manually character by character over several months.
Multi-region romanization data: Data for Shantou, Chaoyang, Jieyang, Raoping, and Chenghai draws from Teochew romanization data and multiple printed dictionaries, verified and entered by personnel familiar with pronunciations across regions.
Audio recordings: Recorded by the site's founders, copyright belongs to the site.
IPA transcriptions: Multi-region transcriptions and Guangyun research are original work, copyright belongs to the site.
Character definitions: Some English definitions are sourced from the zdic.net dictionary, copyright belongs to zdic.net. Each character search page provides a reverse link to zdic.net.

Permitted Use

Allowed: You may use this site via URL embedding in websites, mobile sites, mobile apps, WeChat apps, print media, and social media, provided you retain attribution such as "Data from mogher.com" or "Data from Mogher".

Prohibited

Unauthorized crawling or scraping of site data
Use of site data for commercial purposes, awards, honors, or profit
